Installing a Cusco Spin Turn Knob on an s13

**Click any image to enlarge**

First remove the center console and slide the boot off of the side brake.

If you look on the side of the handle, you can see 2 fingers that hold the spring for the button.

Take a screwdriver and push the spring up and bend both fingers out.

Slide the boot back on and press the Cusco knob over the existing button.

It's very simple to return the side brake back to stock. Just follow these directions
  • Remove center console and boot
  • Carefully remove the Cusco knob
  • Slide the spring back to the top of the handle and hold it there
  • Bend the tabs back in and reassemble
And just like that you're back to stock. Be careful removing the Cusco knob, it has potential to pull the entire center rod from the brake assembly and it's not very fun to fix.

I hope this helps. If you have any questions, drop me an email here: brad at sph33r.net
